Introduction to Coastal Resources

The Orange County Coastline

Our 42-mile coast is one of Orange County's greatest resources. There are so many ways to enjoy the coast; swimming, fishing, lying on the beach, surfing, exploring tidepools, kayaking, diving, boating, or simply admiring its great beauty.

In this section we are providing a variety of information about the coast. You'll find reports, projects, and a guide to tidepool use and resources, as well as information on water quality monitoring and coastal sediment issues. You'll also find notices and agendas for the monthly meeting of the Orange County Coastal Coalition, an information-sharing forum on coastal issues in Orange County. You may add your name to the list to receive meeting notices by email.
