The Anaheim Bay Huntington Harbour watershed covers an area of 80.35 square miles in the northwestern part of Orange County. This watershed includes portions of the cities of Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Los Alamitos, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton and Westminster.
Integrated Regional Watershed Management Program
The Anaheim Bay Huntington Harbour watershed is part of the North Orange County Watershed Management Area (WMA). A local North Orange County Watershed Management Area Integrated Regional Watershed Management Plan (IRWMP) was developed and finalized in 2011. This North Orange County WMA IRWMP was an effort to work cooperatively for planning water management strategies in the region.
